Last summer, when we were on vacation in Italy, I was excited because I bought two really COOL pairs of black shoes!
The next morning, we got dressed for our outing. It was still dark in our hotel room and I hadn’t had any coffee yet. (Bad combo!)
I grabbed my new shoes and headed out!
We had so much fun sightseeing and taking pictures together! I felt CONFIDENT in my mind that I was looking good!
Then, we stepped onto a horse-and-buggy ride and this guy looked at me kind of weird. He said, (in his Italian accent) “Oh, I see you have two different shoes on.”
What??? Seriously???
In the dark, I had mixed up my two new pairs of black shoes!
So what? I could’ve gotten embarrassed, but that’s NOT how I roll. I’m confident! Better yet, I’m GODFIDENT!
And now…I’m apparently a trendsetter! Lol
Every good and perfect gift comes from God! Acknowledge all the good things. God made us and He LOVES us. There’s NOTHING wrong with us!
