Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ; (2 Corinthians 10:5). We worry about things that are never going to happen, and we stress ourselves out instead of casting them away.

Intentionally Casting Our Cares

Cast all your cares upon him because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). When God takes care of us, we KNOW we’ve been cared for because no one that can do it better. No one knows our needs and desires more intimately than God.

Reeling In Things We’ve Cast Away

We cast things away and then reel them back in because we wonder how they will turn out. We feel like God needs a little help. We need to stop worrying about things that probably won’t happen. Have you ever gotten so worried that you got sick to your stomach? That’s called worrying yourself sick.

Who’s Going To Become President?

We aren’t worried about the world system. We have a Father who provides all of our needs according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We trust the Lord.

When We Trust God, It’s Humbling

Therefore humble (lower yourself in your estimation) under the mighty hand of God (1 Peter 5:6). The enemy would like us to think pride is important, but the lesser is greater. Humility is what God lifts up. Trust God more than yourself, your circumstances, or your job. Stop trying to be God, release your situation to him and cast your cares. Let God be God and receive the peace he provides.
