Stand Tall When You Look In The Mirror
If you’ve ever looked in the mirror in the morning wishing the diagnosis hadn’t been given, the contract had come through, or whatever your wish might be. We need a little less wishbone and more backbone. Our rock is Jesus and the word of God. We need his word on the inside of us so that we know what we stand for as a believer. The Bible is so advanced that we haven’t caught up with it yet. Dig into the word and then you will be able to stand firm on it. Don’t put it off.

God, I pray for your people and dedicate them to you. I pray for their friends and family that they have a tug toward you and have a revelation of the cross in their heart. I pray for the protection of our church and staff and every man and woman of God propagating the gospel of Jesus Christ. This is a war between good and evil, darkness and light and it’s a war today that we cannot afford to put off until tomorrow. God, it’s not enough anymore to just say we are Americans or Christians. We are not African Americans, Chinese, or Brazilians. We are Christians on our way to heaven to the Kingdom to see the king. Amen!
