Discouragement is to be persuaded to inaction, to cause someone to lose confidence or enthusiasm. In 2 Corinthians 4:16, we read, that is why we never give up, though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. How often do we get up in the morning exhausted despite sleeping all night? Jesus is not full of worry while sitting at the right hand of God.

God Knows

He knows how elections will unfold.
He knows what the economy is doing.
He knows what is going on in our cities.
He knows your struggle.

He Is Not Moved By What Happens

He says read Romans 8:28. And we know – that in all things – God works for the good – of those who love him – who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). WE. NEVER. GIVE. UP. And he works things out for our good.

People Who Wouldn’t Give Up

“We are battered but not demoralized;
we’re not sure what to do, but we know God knows what to do;
we’ve been spiritually terrorized, but God hasn’t left our side;
we’ve been thrown down, but we haven’t broken.
We’ve experienced trial, torture, mockery and murder.”

We’re Not Giving Up

“Even though it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, God makes life new and not a day goes by without his unfolding grace.”

Be Encouraged!

“These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times and the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today and gone tomorrow, but the things we can’t see now will last forever.”

(The last three paragraphs, in quotes, are portions of 2 Corinthians 7-16 paraphrased).
