With every new level, obstacle and challenge, God has prepared a way of escape. When we go through tough stuff, we tend to ask a lot of questions. And when we are freaking out, our questions don’t always make sense. We need to stop questioning and trust God. It might look like a setback, but God might have arranged that setback to be a setup for a comeback.

Would We Call Out To God If We Didn’t Have Tough Times?

In Psalms 119:71 it reads, It was good for me to be afflicted. Maybe the heartache and hell has been good for us. After my divorce, I couldn’t see the beautiful, loving woman in my future. It gives us a testimony to help others. If we didn’t go through hard times, would we ever call out to God? God is NOT mad at you, he is mad about you. What can separate you from the love of God? NO THING!

Don’t Be Strong FOR The Lord, Be Strong IN The Lord

If we try to be strong FOR God, we will fail every time. We keep thinking he needs us to do more, to be more, yet he just needs us to be willing and to rely on him. God is stronger than we are, so we need to lean on him, lean on HIS understanding, HIS knowledge of the future, and HIS love for us.

“…Be Strong In The Lord And In The Power Of His Might.” (Ephesians 6:10)

Trust That God Has Paved The Way

Whatever your storm is today, know that God has prepared a way. He prepared a fish to hold Jonah for three days (Jonah 1:27) when Jonah was tossed overboard after disobeying God. Your decision has not taken God by surprise. Trust God today. He has paved a way through the storm in front of you.
