How many times have we said, “Time flies when you’re having fun.” Then when things get tough, time seems to slow to a crawl. Why is that? The Bible says that we should COUNT IT ALL JOY (James 1:2). When we are full of joy, we are so focused on being thankful that we don’t mired down in the pain of the process. Our joy is our strength. We get through the hard times faster when we are giving thanks and having fun.

Change The Way You Process The Situation And Have Exceeding Joy About It

We may not be happy, but we can have joy. No joy equals no strength. We can have joy even though we don’t like the situation. Our joy gives us the strength to walk through the situation. Because we are not focusing on what we don’t have and we are focused on what we DO have our circumstances do not determine our joy.

Be Encouraged

Lord, we are thankful for all that you have provided. Thank you for walking through these situations with us. Thank you for working all things for our good (Romans 8:28). Help us to see the good in our circumstances and to be thankful no matter how tough it gets. We stand firm that you will bring us through with joy because your joy is our strength (Nehemiah 8:10). In your name, Amen.
