SHARE THIS POSTWhen it comes to dreams, God wants us to upgrade. So many people downgrade their dream to fit the reality of their life or their checkbook. They think the dream is out of reach, so they settle. There is no faith in a downgraded dream; anyone can accomplish that. Without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). God wants us to upgrade our dream because we can’t even begin to test the limits of his ability.
The Hope-Filled Life
When we say, “God I KNOW you can do this!” It means we are not saying, “God, I just don’t know if you can do this.” One statement is confident, faith-filled, standing firm; the other is hesitant and non committed. The enemy wants to steal our hope with negative, downgraded thinking that creates empty, deflated words. It is through hope that we fight off the downgrade.
Visualizing Promotes Upgraded Thinking
We need to be able to SEE ourselves in our dream as if it is our current reality. Our visualization begins to build a road map in our mind. Our brain is triggered by the road map and begins to look for ways to help us head in that direction.
Be Encouraged
Lord, we are people who agree with your word. We speak faith-filled words of confidence in your unlimited ability. We have dreams so big that it overwhelms us to imagine them happening, but WE BELIEVE! We are the type of people who say, “I’m good and getting better by the day, in fact, I’m so good, I’m already in next week!” We do not conform to the world around us in the way they speak or think. We agree with you, with your word, and we speak faith-filled upgraded words that prime our spiritual pump. Amen!
