Success is about making more right than wrong decisions. Success occurs when we are led, for all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God (Romans 8:14). I am the Lord your God who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go (Isaiah 48:17).
Blessed To Be A Blessing (Genesis 12:2)
A generous person will be made rich, and whoever satisfies others will himself be satisfied (Proverbs 11:25). God wants us to be blessed so that we can bless others. We reap what we sow (Galatians 6:7).
Sowing And Reaping
If we wave to someone, they will likely wave back. If we shake a fist at them while driving down the road, we will get something similar in return. If we smile at someone, they will probably smile back. God leads us throughout the day by this still small voice inside. It’s the one that tells us to open the door for someone, pick up some trash, or let someone merge in front of us in traffic.
The Seed Takes Time
We sow seeds of time, money, or resources, but like the farmer, we can’t expect to see results the very next day. When I was a kid, God led my Dad to sow $1 a day to Kenneth Copeland Ministries. We earned that dollar by collecting bottles, and we mailed that dollar every day. This year Kenneth Copeland said he wanted to put FaithChurch.com on his television network thirteen times a week for free. Keep planting seeds, and in time the harvest will spring up when you least expect it.
Be Encouraged!
God does not show favoritism (Acts 10:34). This is based on God’s word. Google scriptures about finances. Ask God to use you to bless others. His eyes go to and fro looking for someone to raise up. Just be the generous version of you, believe it, receive it and call the wealth of the sinner (Proverbs 13:22) into your life. I call you blessed! Amen.
Saw your broadcast, Go Pro Finances, where you told this story in greater detail. Thanks for encouraging us on the faithfulness of God to your dad and your family all those times! My family watches you on BVOVN and it’s a major part of our faith teaching!
