If there’s anything we can agree on, I think being comfortable is it. We get comfortable with things that are regularly available to us. We pay little attention to the roof over our head, we underestimate the value of the groceries on our table, and we don’t properly appreciate family members. We depend on the supply and forget about the Supplier.

Supernatural

God wants to put his super on our natural. Supernatural is a force that is beyond scientific explanation. When God takes hold of your life, including your finances, things will happen that no one can explain.
The Lord is my Shepherd I shall Not Want (Psalm 23:1)

God wants us to move to the next level. Sometimes he will allow the supply to stop so that we turn to Him. He can’t as easily move us when we are “comfortable.” Think about how difficult it is to get up off of a comfortable sofa after big meal.

In A Land Not So Far Away

Our earthly kingdom has several lands. The Land of Lack, the Land of Even, and the Land of Plenty.
– Lack is when there is more month than money.
– Even is when we owe no man anything except love.
– Plenty is the land God wants us living in, not for our glory but for his.

Be Encouraged

As you travel on your financial journey, know that Christians were never intended to be in lack. Jesus had enough money that he had a treasurer. God wants us to remember him and turn to him. He also wants us to know that if we trust and obey, he will provide the provision for the vision.
