Jealousy is when you find yourself in a situation where YOU BELIEVE that someone else has received what YOU should have gotten. It’s a miserable waste of time spending our days looking at what someone else has gotten instead of focusing on what God has blessed us with.

Opportunity To Compare

“..So John’s Disciples Said, Rabbi…The One You Identified As The Messiah, Is Also Baptizing People. And Everybody Is Going To Him Instead Of Coming To Us.” John 3:26

In this verse, we see a prime opportunity for John the Baptist to get jealous.
The purpose of John the Baptist was to prepare the way for Jesus to minister, it was NOT intended to make

John the Baptist famous or for him to have the ministry of Jesus.

Your Question

If God wants to work THROUGH you and have you NOT be the center of attention, can you handle that?
Can God use you as a conduit through which his will is to be done without you getting jealous of someone else?

We each have a unique role to play in the body of the Church of Jesus Christ, yet so often due to jealousy and envy we keep the church operating at a lower level than what God intends for it.

Embrace What’s Yours

God wants to do extraordinary things here on the earth and each one of us plays an intrinsic part. Don’t ever allow jealousy to keep you from receiving everything God has for you. Rest in your own call and anointing.

You Are Part Of The Big Picture

Never think for one second that someone else has gotten what you should’ve received.
Celebrate when he elevates others and trust that he has a valuable and unique purpose JUST FOR YOU!
