Pastor David CrankDid you know that people all through the bible argue with God?

Abraham argued and negotiated with God. He talked God out of destroying Sodom from an initial 50 righteous people to ONE. While God doesn’t like disrespect, he does like tenacity.

This isn’t about just being stubborn and argumentative with others, but with yourself. Especially yourself! We have a habit of allowing old voices to roll around in our heads. You need to get those messages current and in alignment with God.

Just because you’ve had a setback, DON’T ALLOW your enemy (inner me) to talk you out of what God has promised and into what the enemy’s threatening. Jesus needs you to possess the territory, not be talked out of it!!!

The bible says, in James 4:7, resist the devil and he will flee.

Abraham moved in faith even though his wife was laughing at him. This thing you’ve been called to do might look weird to other people. This is YOUR thing, own it!

God needs you to be stubborn and stand firm in what HE is telling you, not to be swayed by the “other” voices. Argue with God to get your blessing, argue with what you hear that does NOT align with what God is telling you, and most of all, argue against the old voices and dialogues running through your head.

Today I want you to REVERSE WHAT THE DEVIL IS TELLING YOU AND THAT IS TRUTH! Compare what you hear to the word of God and if it doesn’t align, discard it. You do NOT have to receive everything that is said to you.

I encourage you to be stubborn and stand firm in God’s word and what he is telling you today!
