Do you find yourself trying to throttle the boat all the way up? Are you just trying to burn through life instead of just letting the sail go and DECIDING, “I’m going to be happy NOW!” In my last blog, I mentioned that sometimes we live life a little too fast.
We need to remind ourselves of this often because sometimes in our rush, we step away from love and move into fear.
“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear..” 1 John 4:18
If you THINK something bad is going to happen, you open the door of opportunity for it to happen.
“As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7
Fearfulness and expectancy are the breeding ground for the enemy to attack.
I’d like to encourage you to speak this to yourself today:
– I know the Lord loves me
– I know the Lord is proud of me
– I know the Lord is not judging me based on my performance
– He is justifying me
– Based on Jesus’ performance, I don’t get what I deserve, I get what He deserves!
Today is the day that we decide that we are going to be happy no matter what!
