Pastor David CrankDid you know that the church is full of sinners?
Are you one of those people who say the church will collapse around you if you enter?
Do you think you aren’t good enough?

If all you hear is that you are a sinner, then you will continue to sin.
As the mind goes, the man follows. (Proverbs 23:7)

Faith comes through hearing.

  • What you hear…
  • goes into your mind…
  • to your heart…
  • and drives your emotions…
  • which drives your actions

So if you only hear about sin and you feel condemned because all you think about is how much you sin, then you’re going to keep doing what you hear.

I mentioned in a previous blog that you don’t have to ACT like a christian, if you have prayed to invite Jesus into your life, you ARE a christian.

For it is by grace (an undeserved gift) that you have been saved, through faith–and this is not from (your performance) yourselves, it is the gift of God (his performance) Ephesians 2:8

There is…no condemnation to them…in Christ Jesus… Romans 8:1

Do you think you’re not worthy?
That Jesus only interacts with the “good people”?

“…There is no one who does good, not even one.” Romans 3:12

Jesus FIRST SHOWED HIMSELF TO A SINNER, Mary Magdalene, not the “perceived good people” in the church or his disciples. He went straight to a sinner, to show that she can be as righteous as anyone else.

He FIRST went to the lowliest sinner because THAT is where he works.
Jesus shows up to prove a point – he will get down in the lowest dirtiest points of your life.
