Everyone Has One, So What Is Yours?

God gives us all gifts, abilities and treasures. Our gifts are unique. A woman might think she doesn’t have an appealing voice and then she becomes a world-renowned speaker and teacher by the name of Joyce Meyer. The guy who was working the TV camera behind the scenes of his Dad’s ministry steps in front of the camera after his Dad passes away. Joel Osteen, Joyce Meyer, and so many others underestimated their gift and struggled to see how God could use it, as we all do. When God slaps his super on our natural, he can do great things with the gifts HE has instilled into us.

But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong… (1 Corinthians 1:27)

You Are Uniquely You For A Reason

Each of us has something unique that God placed in us for a purpose. He wants us to develop it and use it. Be careful of thinking that a particular trait or characteristic or experience in life is something that God can’t or wouldn’t want to use. God has purposes he wants to work out in your life, but you have to allow it. I didn’t think people would want to listen to me on stage in blue jeans and crazy hair, telling jokes and sharing scripture. As it turns out, God knows exactly what people need.

Nothing Is Too Insignificant For God To Use

When God puts something in your heart to do, just do it! He might drop an idea into your head, or press you to use the gift that he’s given you, please take it to heart. Nothing is too insignificant for God to use. So as you go about your day take some time to consider what you bring to the table. God uses all things. Nothing takes him by surprise, including what YOUR unique gifts. Are you willing to act on what he has put in your heart to do?
