Soldiers don’t just protect and defend, they SAVE lives! They don’t say, “Someone else will do it.” They do it afraid. They stop thinking about themselves, they think about others and the mission at hand. They are real Heroes.
Are you afraid to ask someone to come to church or to tell them about Jesus?
You’re not alone. But you see, God did not intend for us to let fear stop us.
“For God Did Not Give Us A Spirit Of Fear, But A Spirit Of Power, Of Love And Of Self-Discipline.” (2 Timothy 1:7)
It seems that many of us have negative voices inside to get us off-track from God’s mission. Do you find yourself saying things such as:
– They might think I’m weird (They already do.)
– They say they’re a Christian, they probably know Jesus. (Never assume.)
– I’m afraid they’ll reject me, scoff at me or make fun of me. (Do it AFRAID!)
God was on a mission for 33 years and then He passed down orders for the rest of us. Our assignment is to go into the world and preach the Word. Preaching doesn’t mean being on a stage. It is said, “Preach the gospel at all times, and if necessary, use words.”
“…For The Son Of Man Has Come To Seek And To Save That Which Was Lost.” (Luke 19:10)
Tell someone what Jesus has done for you today.
Are you going to save a life today? Be a Hero, Do it Afraid!
