We can’t freak out every time the devil says “BOO!” He wants to throw enough obstacles in our path to make us want to give up. Someone might say, “I have to raise my kids!” No, they don’t. Other people don’t. One father went to prison when his son was only three years old. This man went to prison for murdering this young boy’s mother. The pressure that someone endures who is raised by two parents is nothing compared to what this young man went through. We need to get perspective on our pressure.
Problems Or Perspective?
We have two megachurches with mega problems. Sometimes I need to adjust my attitude, do you need to adjust yours?
– Your dishwasher doesn’t work? Kids in Haiti don’t have a dishwasher
– The jet ski battery is dead?
– The self-propel feature on your lawn mower won’t work?
– Your husband won’t work? There is a woman out there thinking, “I’d mow the grass just to get a husband, or I’d be inside WITH HIM!”
Pressure Separates The Wheat From The Chaff
I don’t finish creating my sermons until right before church because I work better under pressure. Lebron James is Lebron because he’s good under pressure. The pros and amateurs are separated by who can handle the pressure. The difference between an average Mom from a great Mom is determined by how she handles the pressure.
I Encourage You To Speak The Following Out Loud Over Your Life
I am still alive, still good looking, still anointed, and God still loves me. I walk by faith. My dream is going to take some fighting. I will not ditch my dream just because someone else ditched their dream. Only God and I are responsible for my dream and no one else. God did it before, and he will do it again. This week will not be like last week. I will not continue to be oppressed by a bitter fear. I will enjoy my salvation. I am coming out strong, wealthy, wise, and a major overcomer in Jesus name. I set and seal this by the power of the Holy Spirit, Amen!
