SHARE THIS POSTDoes God speak to you? The most common question I am asked is, “How can I know if God is the one speaking to me?”
My Sheep Hear My Voice, And I Know Them, And They Follow Me. (John 10:27)
God speaks to us frequently through:
– Peace
– Wisdom
– God’s Word (the Bible)
– A still small voice on the inside of us
The Holy Spirit lives on the inside of us. He speaks to our heart, sends it up to our mind, which enlightens us to take action!
GOD IS ALWAYS SPEAKING TO YOU.
God will speak to you even before you come to know Jesus.
It seems that when we become a Believer, we analyze way too much. The enemy is not telling us to say we’re sorry, pick up a piece of trash, or to give money.
The INNER-ME and THE ENEMY are always working AGAINST GOD when He is moving you in a positive direction.
The more obedient you are to the voice of God, the more you will feel God is speaking to you because you
FEEL qualified to hear from God.
DO YOU EVER FEEL UNQUALIFIED?
Do you RATIONALIZE thinking, “I did wrong, so God won’t speak to me!” Do your parents stop speaking to you just because they grounded you? Do you stop speaking to your kids just because they got into trouble?
God IS speaking to you. The real question is, “ARE YOU LISTENING AND OBEYING?”
