The other day, Nicole and I had a little spat: sort of, an intense time of fellowship. She was wrong about something… I don’t remember what. (I’m telling this. lol)

I was fed up, aggravated, mad, griping about… WHATEVER. I honestly don’t remember. I’d tell you if I knew. It was a big deal at the time… but I can’t remember it, now.

After a while, she smiled at me and said, in a sing-song cheerful voice, “I don’t care how mad you are, how much you wanna fight. I’m NOT gonna fight with you.”

“I’m not TRYING to fight with you, right now!” I snarled.

“Yes, you ARE!” She said sweetly.

(That just made me EVEN MORE MAD!!!)

But she’s all like, “I’m gonna WALK IN LOVE with you!”

“Don’t you DARE use the Bible on ME!” I declared. “I taught you that stuff!”

But, she was right! It takes TWO to fight and she would not give in. When I finally realized that, my anger went away. It was like someone just let the air out of my balloon.

Later, the Holy Spirit dealt with me, telling me I was wrong. So, I actually went back and thanked Nicole for being the bigger person.

Unchecked anger is a lot like an overinflated balloon just looking for a place to POP! Diffuse the situation by refusing to get caught up in other people’s drama!

Have a great day, today! I call you BLESSED!
