When I share Jesus, it’s just through conversation and stories that make people like me. Then I share what Jesus has done in my life. The Bible says that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away, and the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17) We’ve been forgiven a huge debt, why wouldn’t we want to talk about that?
How Not To Talk
It is not our place to say, “If you die tonight, do you know if you’re going to heaven?”
The people in front of abortion clinics who yell at the women, “You’re going to go to hell!” Those people are doing it WRONG.
It is God’s will that all men come to repentance, and it is the love of God that draws men to repentance. God’s love as it pours through us in our words and actions.
The Pressure To Talk
Are you feeling the pressure and thinking you’re falling behind? If we don’t share our faith – in Isaiah 5:14, the Bible outlines that hell is enlarging itself and is growing. We need to get our friends and family off of hell’s radar and onto heaven’s radar.
Do You Need To Get In The Game And Talk About Jesus?
Jesus said, “If you deny me here on earth, I will deny you before my Father in heaven.” (Matthew 10:33)
This Is Holy Week, Let’s Bless God With Our Focus
Easter Sunday is a huge opportunity to invite others to church. If we don’t, those people will be sadly disappointed. It is the spirit of fear that intimidates us and causes us to be afraid so that we can’t lead people to the Lord. God does not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Let’s Do This!
Lord, we’re going to invite people to church, we’re going to invite them to watch online. Lord, we want to join you in the work you are doing around us. Give us the courage to speak up and when you nudge us, to speak to and invite that person. Amen!
