When we are consistent, there is a miracle that kicks in called faithfulness. The Bible says the faithful person will abound in the blessing. When you stick with the job long enough. When you stick with the relationship long enough. When you stick with the church long enough. Faithful describes the one that remains. The one that stays when it’s hard, when it’s cold, when you’re in love or not in love. Stay planted. If you do something long enough, the feelings will follow and so will results.

Feelings Are Fickle, They Change From Day To Day

How often do we wake up and feel something in particular? We say things like we don’t feel like working out, we don’t feel in love, we don’t feel married, or we don’t feel like going to church. It’s no way to live our life by going by what we feel. If we do, we will be up one day and down the next and will not stay planted because we won’t always feel like staying planted.

Commitment Is Consistent

If you aren’t committed, you might need to be committed because the Bible says the double-minded person is unstable. When we decide to commit our life to a corporation, a person, a cause, then faithfulness kicks in. Faithfulness catapults us into a new dimension, and that’s when God does supernatural stuff.

Be Encouraged

Lord, today is the day that you have made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it. We’re going to flourish and stay planted in your word. We don’t have to cover up what you’re doing in our life. You are working on something behind-the-scenes. We will be at the right place at the right time. We are planted in your house and praising you today! Amen.
