As you walk through your day and examine your life roadmap, goals, actions, and reactions, I have a few things for you to consider.
Joseph Had To Go Through The Pit To Get To The Palace
Your path may not appear to be leading directly to your dream, every experience is a stepping stone. Perform all tasks to honor God, no matter your position, rank, or duties. Even when no one else is watching, God knows your heart.
Joseph Had To Go Through Prison To Get To The Position
It may seem like a lot of things are coming against you. There may be a lot of resistance. Maintain your integrity, do the right thing, treat others with respect, and honor God in your thinking, actions, and words. It will come full circle. God honors faithfulness.
Joseph’s Path To His Dream Probably Wasn’t As Expected
Joseph was not in his homeland when he reached his elevated position. He was in a foreign land away from his family. And his dream of them bowing down to him manifested when his family came from Canaan to Egypt for food during the famine.
Just because it doesn’t make sense to you does not mean it’s not God’s plan.
Takeaway For Today
Our focus leads us to our results.
The dream is to be debt free but there are many stumbling blocks and tests along the way. Joseph did not focus on the betrayal or all of the bad things that happened to him. He looked beyond the pit and the prison to the dream. Despite the pressure, he kept his eyes in one direction and followed the dream God gave him.
Stay faithful to the Lord and focus on his plans and you will prosper in all that you do. #GodFirst #debtfree
