If It's Not Peace, Shake It Off

Luppy is our dog. When she is in trouble, gets chastised, and finally obeys, she shakes herself from head to toe. It’s as if she is shaking it off and starting new. She puts it behind her. Why can’t we shake off the dumb things people say? Why don’t we shake off the stupidity of thinking we are not enough? It’s time to live with the mindset, “It is OK to have peace and enjoy right now.”

It’s Ok To Enjoy Our Life Before Anything Changes

It’s ok to be:
Single, married or divorced
To have kids or not have kids
To have an education or not have an education
To have a good paying job or to not have a good paying job
To have roommates, rent, or own a house
To have no car or to have an older car

Don’t Wait to Be Happy When…

We can’t go on that vacation and then have a miserable time because we think we’re pale and overweight, so we refuse to go out on the beach in a swimming suit. We’re a thousand miles away from most of the people we know, and we’re not going to see THESE people again, we need to ENJOY OURSELF!

Our God Is A God Of Peace

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)

Peace Is In Contentment

If we are always waiting to enjoy life until we reach that next goal, then our life is going to pass, and we will miss out. We have to stop at times and embrace where we are, at this moment. We need to celebrate every victory up to this point. We need to embrace contentment today.

As Paul said in Philippians 4:11, I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.
