Practicing Proximity!

Years ago, when I first started pastoring the church, God told me to sell our home in the country and move to a subdivision in town.

Nicole said, “Are you CRAZY? We built this place! We bought the land next to us just so our kids could live here!”

(What we were thinking? I thought the idea was to raise them and say, “See you later, alligator!”) Lol

Now, I can look back and see that God was SO right! We needed to move because staying there would’ve just held us back.

But, God needed me to be fully vested in HIS plan. That meant, freeing up the time and money I had been spending to maintain our large property.

God told me, “David, use your time, your talent, your treasure, and humorous ability to communicate FOR ME.”

Don’t wait for a BIG booming voice to tell you what to do. (That only happens in the movies.) God will speak to you in a still small voice.

In real estate, it’s all about location, location, LOCATION! Being at the right place at the right time is imperative!

With God, we can grow in favor, and grow in grace when we practice PROXIMITY. If we stay close enough to God, we’ll be sure to hear Him when He speaks!

Proximity to God is EVERYTHING!
