SHARE THIS POSTOne Tuesday night after church, Nicole and I went shopping. Ain’t NOBODY worried about their image in Walmart!
Socks were up, shorts were down, scratching, eating Doritos…and everybody’s looking sideways at US because we’ve still got our church clothes on!
One girl got in line behind us at the cash register and started talking really loud on her phone. Then, suddenly, she SCREAMED OUT, at the top of her lungs…
“I TOLD YOU… DON’T CALL ME NO MORE!!!”
I was afraid to look back. But she didn’t care WHO heard! She was getting free from her problem and all that DRAMA!
I asked Nicole, “What was THAT all about?” She said, “I think, her man has been cheating on her.”
Then, Nicole got all FIRED UP! Her neck was a snappin’ and she said,
“David Crank, if you EVER cheat on me… I will drag you out of Walmart, myself! You’ll just disappear and no one will ever be able to PROVE A THING!
WHAT DID I DO?
Relationships can be filled with a lot of tension, volatility and unnecessary drama! That’s why we need a SOLID FOUNDATION in God’s Word to weather every storm.
And never be so worried about how you look that you allow someone to walk all over you. STAND UP for yourself!
(Life lessons learned… straight from Walmart! lol)
