Are You Running Someone Else’s Race?

We can’t run someone else’s race. We have to do that thing that we were created to do that is our unique thumbprint in the world. Our race, which is our purpose, is not just about us. It’s about God and those who will benefit from our gift. It might be our grandkids, friends, co-workers or complete strangers. We need to align our thinking and get into agreement that God-Has-Big-Plans-For-US!!!

Train Your Body To Do What It Should Do And Not What It Wants To Do. (1 Corinthians 9:27)

The athlete sacrifices and trains in order to win a gold medal. Training means denying ourselves many things. We must choose to eat the right things. We must choose to spend wisely. Don’t be the person who doesn’t pay attention and ends up meandering aimlessly and NOT moving towards the goal!

Will We Cut Off All Possibilities And Commit To Our Race?

What is our race? Does it involve financing the kingdom, so we need to face our debt? Are we Doing Everything But Thinking? Or do we need to get fit so that we have the stamina and health to do the things that God is asking us to do? Are we eating or buying whatever we want or doing what that quiet voice inside is saying to do? Our commitment to the training and the race is the determining factor on how well we will run. It doesn’t have anything to do with anyone else.

Run YOUR Race With Determination!

When God wants you to do something big, he will start with something small. Your race is unique to you. God loves obedience more than sacrifice. (1 Samuel 15:22) The zeroes may change by the pressure doesn’t. We grow into the changes that we face. We stretch before we race because the race stretches us! I’d like to encourage you to do what is right, because it’s right, with boldness, commitment and determination fired up by God himself! Ready, Set, GO!
