We have to give shape to our dreams and action to our plans. Our clothing is like a dream. Without us occupying our clothes, they are lifeless. My jacket is lifeless until I put it on, and then it moves and shows life. We have to put it on! We are a spirit wearing a temporary earth suit that was made from the ground. We are a spirit that possesses a soul and lives in a body. Our spirit is anointed and wants to do right. Our spirit wants to put on the dream God has placed in our heart!
We Are Anointed To Do SOMETHING
You didn’t choose me. I chose you. (John 15:16)
God has anointed us to carry out a specific calling. He has appointed us to start the business, raise the kids, open the bakery, or fly an airplane. If we get outside of our purpose, it will be HARD!
Some Days We Don’t Feel It
We may not feel equipped to carry out the dream. We don’t always FEEL like a Christian. When we receive Christ, we become anointed. We don’t feel American, but we are American. We don’t feel married, but there is a marriage certificate, video, and photos to prove it. We don’t FEEL it, we ARE it.
Don’t Devalue What God Has Created
We’re good at what we’re good at… And we’re not good at what we’re not good at… So if we lie to ourselves we WILL be miserable. We say things such as:
– I’m JUST a Mom.
– I’m JUST a parking lot guy.
– I JUST listen to church online.
You’re not JUST anything.
Celebrate it!
I’d like to encourage you to let go of the failure from an hour ago, focus on the work God is doing in you and celebrate the small victories starting right now!
