When we receive a negative voicemail, Facebook message, or message of any kind we need to draw the line in the sand, delete the message, block the number and move on. Being addicted to other people’s approval causes us to be a puppet to mankind. We should not be controlled by people or our circumstances. We need to be Spirit-led.

The Joy Of The Lord Is Our Strength. (Psalm 28:7)

When we check with our feelings, family, or the controller of the relationship, we leave our joy in the hands of others. By stealing our joy, they steal our strength. The real crux of the issue is that it is our choice. We choose to give away our joy, and we grow weakened. The joy of the Lord is our strength.

Are We Too Busy Or Is There Too Much Noise In Our Life To Hear God?

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23) The Holy Spirit lives in us, but it is possible for us to get so busy that we stop listening, or we allow so much noise in our life that we no longer hear.

God Is Always Talking

We need to be still and give God some uninterrupted time so that he can speak to us. He’s always talking it’s just that sometimes we have drifted too far away in our busyness to hear him.

A Spirit-Controlled Day Is Not Ruined By One Bad Text

Our spirit should control our soul. If life is a roller coaster, it is because we are allowing our feelings or flesh to have control. One text shouldn’t destroy our day. We need to draw the line in the sand and realize that God is the one we need to please. We need to cut the strings from our puppeteers and stand on God’s word. The JOY of the Lord is our STRENGTH!!!
