The difference between the one who fails and the one who does not is that the person who succeeded kept trying. We have to raise our standard. We have to stop settling for giving up and quitting. We need to get determined on the inside before we ever do it on the outside. The battlefield is in our head. It’s in our thinking. Before we quit, we think about quitting. Before we give up, we have told ourselves it’s pointless and that we are not moving forward fast enough. We set ourselves up for failure in our head before failure is even on the horizon.
If It Were Easy We Would All Be:
– Successful
– Healthy
– Fit
– Wealthy
– Happy
How We Speak About Our Goals Makes All Of The Difference
If you have one goal this year, resolve to change the way you think.
Here is an example for a smoker. If someone asks me to pray that they will quit smoking and then say, “I hope I can quit – – because I’m a smoker.” This type of thinking and identity management ensures they will not succeed.
We Need To Raise Our Resolve!
Say, “I hate smoking, smoking makes me sick. I can’t stand smoking. I am not a smoker; I used to be a smoker. That is NOT who I am.”
This mindset works in every area of life. It triggers emotions inside of us that can help us do it because if we think we can’t, then we can’t.
We Reap What We Sow. (Galatians 6:7)
Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17)
Sow words of expectation. Speak the vision. We need to hear ourselves speak positively. Our words are containers of power that design our lives. Sow words, sow effort, sow commitment and you will reap the
benefits!
Lord we are expectant that you will slap your SUPER on our NATURAL and in each of our lives show us the manifestation of the goals that you have placed into our hearts today. Amen!
