But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; and the weak things of the world to shame the strong. (1 Corinthians 1:27) There is no template for balancing a progressive approach with spiritual truth. We are reaching people who do not know God or who have been given wrong messages about God that has caused them to turn away from God. We are showing people that GOD IS NOT MAD AT THEM; HE’S MAD ABOUT THEM.

Reprogramming Over Old Messages

Religion and man portray God in such a way at times that cause people to associate a negative experience with God. It is often an experience based on what they are TOLD ABOUT GOD. They need a new message. They need to be directed to God and specific places in the word so that they can OWN THE TRUTH for themselves.

Religion vs. Relationship

God wants to show us that we cannot do it without him so that we will TURN TO HIM. God is not pointing an accusing finger at us but is DRAWING US TO HIM with love, compassion, and forgiveness.

Blind Scales Of Justice

God showed me a vision of the blind scales of justice where she had her foot on the head of a snake. This represents the challenge of balancing and countering the truth of God’s love with the mixed, missed, and wrong messages about God in society. It is juggling the reality of the promises of God with an approach to which people can relate.

Reaching You And Everyone Around You

Lord, you are using us as a church, to break new ground and are opening the door for each of us to reach exponentially more people every day. Continue to show us as individuals how we can share the story of our experience with you in a new light to reach those around us. You are so creative, Lord, thank you for continuing to reveal yourself through the incomparable and unending creative anointing that is the palette of our world!
