What Direction Are Your Decisions Taking You?

If we are not careful, we can mess up our future by choosing instant gratification, over long term results. We can get sidetracked by something we want now, and that can keep us here, which keeps us from moving over there. Our destiny is tied to someone somewhere that we don’t even know about right now and that hinges on the decision we make.

The decision.

We might need to make a decision related to people in our life, finances, education, starting a business, or buying a piece of property. If we ask, God will lead us. We just have to obey when He whispers the direction to go, what people to talk to or what meetings to attend.

Once you get there, you’ll forget all about here.

I met my wife Nicole, after going through a divorce, depression and being in a pit. Granted, when I met her I had pulled myself up and started moving forward again, leaving here to head for there. But you know what? My destiny is tied to her, she is my soul mate. Sixteen years have passed, and I can hardly remember the pain of what happened because of the beauty of the place called, “There.” If God did it for me, then he will do it for you.

If they don’t grow, they can’t go.

As we consider where we are today, we need to remember that the people who don’t grow can’t go. They’re going to look the same way ten years from now as they do today because of decisions that they have made.

Decisions -> Direction -> Destiny

Our decision determines our direction. Our direction determines our destiny. We can’t allow those people to keep us over HERE. They are comfortable here, but we know that we need to go over THERE. We have to make a decision.

I am talking about going to church right now.
I am talking about starting a business right now.
I am talking about walking in integrity right now.

It’s not over until it’s over. Make that decision today!

It is not based on the economy, it is not based on the democrats or the republicans or any other current events. It is based on your decision. What decision do you need to make today? What is holding you back?
