One time, Nicole and I were in Dallas on business. The first night, we got all the way up to our hotel room and the key didn’t work! So, we had to go all the way back downstairs so they could fix it!

Needless to say… I was AGGRAVATED!

The next night, we got back to our room really LATE after being in meetings all day. I’m already muttering under my breath and griping at Nicole.

“I sure hope that key works, this time, because I’m NOT going all the way downstairs, again!

We all do it! We complain! Sometimes, we gripe and complain out loud. And sometimes, it’s just in our head. Mostly, it’s about stuff that HASN’T even happened, yet!

Well, guess what? The key didn’t work…AGAIN!

I just looked at her and said, “I TOLD you! I just KNEW it! I just knew it wasn’t gonna work!!! I’m too tired to ride that slow elevator and walk that long hallway!”

Instead of getting all emotionally jacked up with me, Nicole just, calmly, headed down to the lobby while I sat on the floor in the hallway.

I guess, I was just a little OVERWHELMED!

Thank God, she finally came back with a key that worked! I was SO tired! Without Nicole, I’d have probably just slept there on the carpet all night!

We want to move forward. But, griping and grumbling never gets us anywhere! Because, when we complain… we just REMAIN!

Have a great day, today! I call you BLESSED!
