If we think the sequence of things doesn’t matter then we need to try walking up to a complete stranger of the opposite sex and saying, “I want to get married.” It’s all about timing and the order of events. If you’ve got her phone number but the numbers are out of sequence you are NOT cracking THAT code. Likewise, the code of life is found in sequential order in God’s word.

This Week, I’ll Talk About Three Things God Wants

1. Time
2. Talent
3. Treasure (Tithe & Offerings)

We Reap What We Sow, Why Would We Only Give To God In One Area?

If we give God time, he will give us time. One of us might live to be 100 years old, but that person might be broke because they didn’t tithe. If we give God our talent, that’s great, but we might live a short life and end up broke. If we give God our money, we might end up rich but live a short life with completely unused talent.

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. (Galatians 6:7)

God Isn’t Into Not Being First

He said I want to be first. I will have no other God’s before me. (Exodus 20:3)
God doesn’t want to be considered after we pay our bills.
God doesn’t want to be FIT into our schedule. (Matthew 6:33)
God doesn’t want to be considered AFTER we wake up and check texts, email, Facebook, and Instagram.

Are You Ready To Crack The Code?

Are you thinking about spending time with God, volunteering your talent, or giving your tenth? Today is the best day to get started. Remember, you reap what you sow!
