I mentioned in a previous blog that opportunity shies away from need. Think about it. If someone is looking for a mate, are they looking for someone who seems insecure or needy? Or are they attracted to someone who has confidence and has a plan? It’s like the victor/victim mentality is reflected in how we carry ourselves. How we think about ourselves and our life is reflected in our words and actions. Likewise, it’s similar when a consumer chooses a business they want to see a plan, purpose, and strength. We have to stop with the victim mentality and embrace the victor mindset if we want opportunity to knock!

God can do anything, far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! (Ephesians 3:20-21 MSG)

Are We Underestimating God?

Jesus said, [there’s] “No chance at all if you think you can pull it off yourself. Every chance in the world if you trust God to do it.” (Matthew 19:26 MSG)

If God put a dream in our heart, he will bring it to completion in his timing, but we need to trust that. We don’t have to MAKE it happen, but we do need to be prepared for it mentally and physically. With God all things are possible. We need to stop putting God in a box and putting limits on him. This thing we’re facing? He’s got this!

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 1:6 NIV)

If God Says So, Then It’s Going To Happen. You Can Take That To The Bank

Years ago, God told me that I had the ability to be a father to Nicole’s seven year old boy. Now after 24 years, he is more of a son to me than a son by birth ever could have been. Nicole and I are blessed to have Austin working side-by-side with us in ministry. Don’t tell me that God can’t use blended families! Don’t tell me that God won’t bring you a good man or a good job. Start picturing yourself with Brad Pitt and stop dating Arm Pit. God has called you AND qualified you. Your past does NOT determine your future in any way shape or form.

Be Expectant!

Join me in expecting great things for your life as we get into agreement with God and watch his plan for your life unfold. Be like Jacob (see yesterday’s blog) and get excited! God will turn around what seems to be an undesirable situation into a prosperous one that is for your good and His glory!
